The People Behind KakiLang
Felyn
Hi, I'm Felyn!
I'm passionate about caring for the elderly as well as environmental sustainability. I love looking out for the elders around me and one of my biggest goals is to bridge generational gaps - which KakiLang also aims to achieve!
I also personally believe that incorporating activities that align with sustainability is important for the future of our earth ♡

Which is why, in this project, we also included green activities to reflect the relevance of sustainability in our everyday lives.
My teammate, RaeAnne
This project proposal is a collaborative effort between RaeAnne and I!

RaeAnne is passionate about creating awareness about mental health, which ties in nicely with our project as mental health is a key aspect we are looking into amongst seniors.

Our work is based on the understanding of how active living encouraged through community involvement can ultimately help improve mental health.
Watch a short video to find out more about my love for caring for the elderly & the environment!
So, what are our roles?
We are coordinators & mobilisers at the same time.

We hope to form meaningful KakiGroups (community groups) that serve the purpose of the project & mobilise other like-minded students to join our team and further our impact.

Some takeaways...
Through this project proposal, I gained a stronger sense of belonging towards my community.

With further understanding and empathising with the target group, I learnt that Interaction is key in working with seniors, especially those who live alone.

We envision for this project to reach actualisation in order to benefit our senior community.
