It's also worthy to note that...
The number of Singaporean seniors living alone will likely increase by 30% in 2030.
Seniors living alone are twice as likely as their peers to develop depressive symptoms.
Interaction & Emotional Support are key to prevent their mental health from declining.
(From Singapore Longitudinal Ageing Study)
What does KakiLang emphasise on?
1. Our main aim is to help seniors maintain a more active lifestyle through means of a community via our KakiGroups! (community groups)

2. At the same time, we want to empower youths to initiate & join KakiGroups to help seniors stay active.

3. Through this initiative, we hope that the community spirit will encourage more elderly to maintain an active lifestyle, at the same time, bridge generational gaps !
